Hara Software seeks a Solutions Engineer with a "hunter's" mentality and strong communication, presentation, persuasion, and technical skills to support our East Coast Sales Team in securing revenue. Ideal candidates must fluently speak in terms of value and solutions, be world class listeners and team oriented. In this role, you will be focused on opportunity scoping and architecture design in addition to customizing applications and training in order to ensure pitch and pilot success. Ideal candidates for this position will be located in New York, NY, or Chicago, IL. Boston, MA and Northern NJ are also acceptable locations. Responsibilities Complete software demonstrates and presentations that range from standard to custom demonstrations in a variety of industry segment specific voices Implement entire suite of our products in proof of concept scenarios and production applications Support prospects through their evaluation process, providing training and support assistance Deliver training and workshops as necessary to attract new clients and grow existing clients Understanding the customer's technical and business environment and requirements Working to identify creative ways that our product can solve business problems Communicating internally with Executive, Marketing, Sales, and Technical teams Be prepared and willing to assist new reps, lead calls and prospect clients Requirements Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable and responsible in a position that grants autonomy Comfortable presenting complex technical topics to business and technical audiences in an Enterprise Software environment Professional interactions within our organization and customers’ organizations Understanding of carbon accounting, Climate change strategy, CSR Reporting, and GHG inventory strategy preferred. Experience with the Business Intelligence market a significant plus. Must be able to travel occasionally to support client needs – up to 25%.
