The Account Manager is a quota-carrying enterprise software field sales position responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by generating and closing new opportunities in the assigned market.

This position will be covering accounts on the East Coast. Ideal candidates may be located in New York City, Northern New Jersey, Boston Metro areas.

Responsibilities

Articulate the solution to customer organizations at the Director, VP, and C-Level
Manage the full life cycle of the enterprise sales process from prospecting to closing
Accurately forecast new business
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and technologies, competitors, industry trends
Architect a solution that meets customer requirements
Participate in industry conferences and trade shows
Build relationships that turn customers into loyal fans
Document all client interactions in the CRM system
Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of Enterprise Software Sales experience (EH&S experience a plus; SaaS experience a strong plus)
Documented quota-beating enterprise software sales performance carrying a $1.5M quota or greater
Proven self starter, with start up background
Sales experience with solutions that average $250,000 or greater
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A strong drive that thrives in a results oriented culture
A documented track record of success with referenceable customers.
25% - 50% travel is required
