We are the national leader in demand response energy solutions and we are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to support our Arizona-based Field Operations team. Project Managers provide oversight and relationship management for high-visibility energy management hardware and software deployment projects throughout the country. Each assignment requires the coordination among multiple parties including the customer, electrical contractors, electricity marketplace administrators, permitting and regulatory officials, and EnerNOC staff. Project Managers are also expected to become fully conversant in electricity markets and all associated regulations.

Candidates will have a track record of successfully managing multiple parallel short-term projects while communicating project status and expectations both in and out of the organization. Attention to detail and follow-up is essential to the success of this role, and candidates for the PM position must possess a minimum of three years of proven experience in related roles.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the customer experience at EnerNOC, including assistance with energy management services, installation of EnerNOC Site Server hardware/software at multiple customer facilities, energy audits and continual customer communication
• Fully understand contractual and regulatory issues relating to the regional grid operator, our customers, and other parties
• Assist in setting the direction and strategic goals for Arizona
• Work with the field operations team to optimize metering configurations to best serve our customers
• Troubleshoot various components related to energy management including but not limited to networking devices, control & monitoring systems, automatic transfer switches, and backup generators
• Effective communication skills are critical and required
• Represent a team who strives for operational excellence and first-class customer service

Required Qualifications, Skills and Education:

• BA/BS in engineering, sciences, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other related fields
• A minimum of three years experience specifically relating to energy management or energy systems through consulting, project or construction management, or other relevant experience (PM)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple issues at once
• Outstanding communication skills with the proven ability to utilize these skills across groups within and outside the organization
• Ability to apply creativity and objectivity while solving technical problems
• A proven track record demonstrating the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment with the ability to quickly learn new technology
• Broad understanding of business considerations associated with our installations
• Ability to travel locally as needed
