EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Project Manager with energy audit experience to support our operations in New England & across all of EnerNOC’s regions. In this position, you’ll be supporting our DemandSMART product line as well as our SiteSMART product line, including conducting and documenting energy audits for our SiteSMART customers. As an EnerNOC Project Manager, you’ll provide oversight and relationship management for high-visibility energy management hardware and software deployment projects. Each assignment will require the coordination among multiple parties including the customer, electrical contractors, electricity marketplace administrators, permitting and regulatory officials, and EnerNOC staff. You will be expected to become fully conversant in the New England wholesale electricity market and all associated regulations related to demand response and other EnerNOC offerings. In addition, you will be required to become familiar with rules and regulations in other EnerNOC markets as necessary. Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of HVAC and energy efficiency concepts, have successfully performed several energy audits at commercial & industrial facilities, and have a track record of successfully managing multiple parallel short-term projects while communicating project status and expectations both in and out of the organization. Attention to detail and follow-up is essential to the success of this role, and candidates must possess a minimum of three years of proven experience in related roles. Key Responsibilities: ·Manage the customer experience at EnerNOC, including performance of energy audits, assistance with energy management and energy efficiency services, installation of EnerNOC site server hardware/software at customer facilities, and continual customer communication as part of multiple, multi-faceted demand response and other energy management projects ·Supervise the work of construction, electrical, permitting, and other subcontractors. ·Work with the field operations team to optimize metering configurations and identify additional energy management opportunities to best serve our customers ·Understand contractual and regulatory issues relating to the regional grid operator, our customers, and other parties ·Troubleshoot various components related to energy management including but not limited to networking devices, control & monitoring systems, automatic transfer switches, and back-up generators ·Other duties related to distributed generation, energy auditing, and energy efficiency services as requested ·Represent a team who strives for Operational Excellence and first-class Customer Service ·Effective communication skills are critical and required Required Qualifications/Skills/Education: * BA/BS in engineering, sciences, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other related fields * A minimum of three years experience specifically relating to energy management or energy systems through consulting, project or construction management, or other relevant experience * A proven track record demonstrating the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment with the ability to quickly learn new technology * Outstanding communication skills with the proven ability to utilize these skills across groups within and outside the organization * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills * Strong analytical and report-writing skills * Ability to develop spreadsheet analysis for a variety of energy efficiency measures * Broad understanding of business considerations associated with our installations * Ability to apply creativity and objectivity while solving technical problems * Ability to travel locally as needed Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education: * Computer and networking experience * Electrical or other engineering, design, or project contracting experience * Passion for energy efficiency and clean energy technology * LEED accreditation and/or Certified Energy Manager certification is a benefit but not required EnerNOC (NASDAQ: ENOC) is transforming the way the world uses energy.
