Role Purpose: To provide support to the Project Manager in the development and implementation of Renewable Energy Projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

KEY ACTIVITIES

TECHNICAL/COMMERCIAL
Works closely with the Project team and project partners to ensure Masdar's interests are represented in active Projects and in future projects planned.

Manages the Project Management information system
Responsible for financial & project due diligence, and focus on technical, operational, and completion risks associated with projects

Review of Capex, Opex, project & contracts strategy.
Production of CAPEX documentation, cost estimates, bid analysis, industry bench marking and financial models, whenever required

Review and assist in establishing bid price components and final presentation to higher management on any projects that need to be awarded.

Coordinate bid submittal, questions to consultants/contarctors/PM's and answers to clarifications post bid submittal;

Risk management of CAPEX projects from feasibility through to completion. Facilitation of client risk workshops, advising probability, allocating risk ownership and formulating risk response plans

Overview of EPC Contract drafting & negotiation, definition of technical and functional specification, part of FEED team, from design to engineering to development of project management plans and grid connection studies.

Responsibility to review grid connection agreements
Strategic planning and programming of project activities using SureTrak Primavera and MS Project and continual review of the same
Liaise, manage and work closely with third party consultants

Preparation of internal and external reports including investment appraisal documentation as required
Review of technical and commercial project reports and information

STRATEGIC

Supports the unit in its annual strategic review.

LEADERSHIP
Deputizes for the project manager during his absence or unavailability.
You will interact with a multi-national team within the organization and with external advisors effectively managing relationships and negotiate both internal approvals as well as managing all external stakeholders relations.
