Duties and Responsibilities:



The Technical Cyber Security Audit Analyst is responsible for providing computer technical expertise in support of Golden CS efforts to assess the risks discovered during the periodic review of new and existing information technology systems.



· Research and analyze available information to provide insight into the security status of network and system resources.

· Investigate compliance issues including potential impact of non-compliance, plausible mitigation strategies, incidents, and other agency alerts utilizing various tools.

· Maintain equipment and applications related to Vulnerability Assessment and Data Leakage.

· Assist the site’s Web Filtering, Log Monitoring, and Malicious Code prevention programs.

· Serve as a subject matter expert in classified and un-classified computer security.

· Serve Customers (internal and external) by contributing to the Information and System Assurance Team efforts.

· Formally and informally presents information in group and individual settings.

· Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



· Must be able to obtain and maintain DoE Q Clearance

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Security, or equivalent technical experience.

· 6+ yrs applying principles, practices, and techniques used by information systems security personnel

· Strong Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot in the areas of data transfer protocols, desktop/server configuration options, network traffic analysis, hardware, and application communication

· Effective communication and presentation skills

· Ability to initiate appropriate action with minimal direction/supervision

· Ability to work effectively in teams and in a customer service environment
