The Residential Solar Consultant will be responsible for the following:
- Generate sales leads and follow up on office inquiry calls;
- Produce sales orders by convincing customers on the merits of the financial, technical and/or environmental properties of a solar system;
- Make business decisions relating to the appropriate sales price for a solar system;
- Coordinate advertising measures with the marketing department;
- Analyze market parameters such as demographic and income data, and business competitors;
- Network in the community through attending events such as Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

Two to three years of outside sales experience;
- Bachelors Degree from Accredited University;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision after appropriate training has been given;
- Ability to learn a technical product;
- Ability to effectively educate the public about solar electricity;
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines;
- Communicate information both orally and in writing;
- Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks;
- Clean driving record;
- Strong Creativity & Enthusiasm.

Compensation will comprise of a base salary plus a substantial commission package. Average first year compensation ranges from $45,000 to $85,000. The commission package is designed to encourage high performers and does not contain a ceiling to earning potential. Those individuals that can make deals happen will be compensated accordingly.
