As a Lead Energy Engineer here at McKinstry, you will be responsible for providing direction and oversight to the energy engineering, energy auditing, and energy analyst staff and associated processes to ensure the successful and efficient development of energy services projects. You will perform preliminary and investment grade engineering studies. You will also identify field improvement measures (FIM’s) related to a building’s infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, control, water, wastewater, envelope, solid waste, irrigation, and lighting systems and subsequently provide written documentation to sales and management concerning recommended FIM’s.

If you have solid leadership and communication skills, a fundamental grasp of energy efficiency technologies and excellent technical writing skills, this position is for you! This position requires that you have personal transportation and be able and willing to work efficiently with and around mechanical and electrical equipment. A four year M.E. degree or equivalent, four + years experience in an energy related field and personnel management experience is preferred.
