The Bloom Energy team is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager responsible for all sales to, and potential partnerships with, utilities and gas companies. This position is based in Sunnyvale CA. Role & Responsibilities: - Build on existing Bloom Energy relationships with utilities with the goal of securing large-scale sales and/or PPAs to Investor Owned and Municipal Utilities - Explore partnership opportunities with utilities and gas providers - Support other Business Development, Sales and Marketing objectives Education & Experience: - At least 5 years experience working with utilities, preferably PG&E, Sempra and/or SCE required - Proven success selling capital equipment projects and/or Power Purchase Agreements - Experience of having led business objectives resulting in $50 million per year of net new business closed - Demonstrated success as a “Big Game Hunter” - Experience using a formalized sales methodology a plus - Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail - Proven ability to successfully manage a multiple of projects and meet deliverable deadlines amidst changing requirements, deadlines and priorities - Ability to be creative, versatile, efficient and productive with minimal supervision or guidance - Strong self-starter and team player with a can do attitude - Strong drive for results and continuous improvement - Bachelors or Masters in technical discipline - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Interested applicants should send a cover letter and resume to jobs@bloomenergy.com with \"Business Development Manager\" in the subject line.
