An experienced AMR Energy Sales Manager is needed with an excellent understanding of the Energy sector to lead a regional team of sales and account managers in southern England. This is a general management role that is expected to deliver sales through existing customers while pro-actively developing new relationships and business.

The company is a Global Major Energy metering firm providing gas and power to domestic and commercial customers in the UK. The company is looking to take on more staff due to growth and provide excellent career progression and development within the company. The company is well established within the Smart Metering industry and has taken advantage in the recent boom in energy management and metering.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and defining business plans to successfully deliver all aspects of sales performance. They would be expected to play a role in the wider leadership of the firms’ business, promoting an environment of high performance teamwork.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales team across the entire southern region of the UK.
- Lead and develop a team of sales staff and ensure growth and continuous sales are maintained.
- Deliver sales with existing customer base and develop new business.
- Act as a key member of the managers team, taking joint team accountability for targets, including turnover, gross margin and profit.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and cultural development of the business.
- Liaise and manage internal relations with teams in order to sell and deliver more competitive products.
- Develop and maintain a proactive approach to Health & safety within South Region.


Requirements:
- Broad proven experience within the energy sector is essential.
- A business related degree is ideal but not essential.
- Experience within a Senior Business Development Sales role.
- Extensive commercial experience especially orientated around developing senior business relationships.
