Director/Senior Associate of Private Equity Placement Services for Cleantech & Socially Responsible Private Equity Funds

Description:
An advisory firm which specializes in private placements for Cleantech and Sustainable operating companies seeks a Director/Senior Associate to build a private equity fund placement practice in the Cleantech and Sustainable sectors. The advisory firm currently has multiple Cleantech / Sustainable private equity fund engagements to place by the end of 2009.

The position will work with a range of institutional investors including pensions, endowments, fund of funds, insurance companies, family offices, foundations, and investor advisors.

The primary role of this position is fund placement. This position represents an entrepreneurial opportunity to be in on the ground floor of an innovative and growing sector.

Candidates must have the ability to build this practice independently.

Functions:
• Fund placement.
• Investors relations.
• Strategic and document preparation advice.

Experience candidates only:
• 5-10 years financial advisory experience with placement firms, family offices, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, pensions, gatekeepers and advisors. Experience in Cleantech or Socially Responsible Business is desirable.
• Must have a Solid Institutional investor network in North America, Middle East or Asia.
• Series 7 and 63 a must

Skill Set:
• Independent, self-managed.
• Ability to work in entrepreneurial environment.
• Results-oriented.

Other:
• Compensation based on percentage of capital raised.
• Relocation not necessary. Ability to work from home.
• Travel required.
