The Lighting & Products Group is focused on providing energy efficient solutions to our residential clients and as a member of this team, you are critical to our success. Our team has an immediate need for a Field Manager, based out of a home office in the Philadelphia, PA metro area.
In this role, you will be responsible for all field program management and field team management for home energy incentives efficiency programs in the Philadelphia, PA metro area. You will report to the Senior Manager and experience all the benefits of working for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company while having a significant impact in energy efficiency, climate and sustainability.

Role Description

As our Field Manager, you will lead and develop a skilled team of field representatives, positioning them for success by anticipating and delivering upon our clients’ needs. In this externally facing role, you will serve as one of the communication links between the client, trade allies, retailers and Ecos internal cross-functional teams.

In this position, you will establish and maintain relationships with trade allies, retailers and client personnel through regular site visits, where you will distribute Program materials and provide Program training that includes training on ENERGY STAR products. You will work to strengthen the trade ally and retail commitment to energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR home and appliance products, as well as strive to increase consumer awareness. on the benefits of energy efficient furnaces, air conditioners, appliances and products. Data tracking the sales of energy efficient products will be used to measure the Program’s success in transforming the marketplace.

As our Field Manager, you will provide excellent customer service as needed and cross-train on other Programs as necessary. You will also be responsible for supporting all market activity regarding new products and Program events and will oversee all trade ally and retailer outreach events.

Role Competencies

As our ideal candidate, you possess a Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, energy management or a related field, plus seven years of experience in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or electric technologies area. Your four years of experience mentoring, developing and managing teams to excellence is essential. Your familiarity with energy efficiency program management, including the concepts, practices and procedures, will aid your success in this role.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and be able to learn the Program-specific software. Your excellent customer interaction skills will include the ability to understand partner concerns about Program operations and to suggest solutions. Experience working within a cross-functional team, and strong initiative while maintaining excellent reporting, is necessary to your success. Furthermore, your experience managing projects in the realm of residential energy efficiency products is desirable.
