As an intern in Harvest Power’s Grants Division, you will work directly with the Grants Manager and the Vice President of Government Affairs and Incentives to help identify and market to key contacts in the public arena, help research and maintain a database of potential funding sources, and play an important role in developing and writing grant documents, both during the application phase and the post-award management phase. A keen eye for detail and a self-starter attitude will be essential to help the Grants Division maximize the number of grants applied for, grants won, and the efficient application of awarded funds. Your follow-through and ability to bring new ideas to the table will help you excel in this position, which will provide you with the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. A strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe will be greatly valued, as well as a willingness to learn new researching and data management techniques. Effective written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to multi-task, prioritize, proofread, and work independently.

We partner with compost facilities and waste managers in North America to build, own, and operate next-generation alternative energy power plants. Our portfolio of technologies, including High-Solids Anaerobic Digestion and Gasification, capture the energy content in food and yard waste, a process that is new to North America but has been fully implemented in Europe. An ideal candidate would be interested in part-time hours during the school year, leading up to a full-time commitment during the summer. An hourly wage will be offered based on experience.
